Catherine relocated to Saudi Arabia with the expectation of a brief stay, yet more than a decade later, she reflects on the privilege of having continued her diverse and impactful communications career within the Kingdom.

Her professional journey includes establishing the communications office for a K12 school and establishing a strong brand, revitalizing alumni relations through storytelling and digital transformation, and spearheading engagement initiatives in Strategic National Advancement.

Most notably, she redefined the brand identity of the Clean Combustion Research Center, elevating its scientific profile through innovative branding strategies. It was here that she discovered her love for working in science and academia.

Before her move to Saudi Arabia, Catherine led two entrepreneurial ventures in South Africa: Paradigm Shift, where she forged enduring relationships within the mining and engineering sectors, and SignRight, a signage and digital printing enterprise.

Her robust academic foundation—comprising an MA in Creative Writing, a degree in English and Linguistics, and a diploma in PR & Marketing—underscores her expertise and fuels her sophisticated approach to communications.
